Etymology: From Old Georgian შენ (šen), from Proto-Kartvelian *š(w)en-. Cognate with Mingrelian სქან (skan), სკან (sḳan), Laz სქან (skan), ცქან (ckan) and Svan ისგუ (isgu). Similarity with Turkish sen is a coincidence. From a source of medium confidence.
